Solihull MC had an excellent and well attended club meet in the splendid Yorkshire Ramblers Club Cottage at Lowstern near Settle this weekend. This is an excellent hut with beautiful views, room for a few tents if the hut is full and plentiful cows in the nearby fields. An atmospheric sunrise on Saturday heralded perfect autumn conditions for the rest of the weekend, when we had folks climbing, walking and running(!) all over the place!
Club members climbed at Malham, Rylstone, Almscliff and Robin Proctor Scar crags. A walking expedition went to the dales classic of Ingleborough and Mike Reynolds nipped out to run in a fell race in Langdale. Weekends in the great outdoors don’t come much better, helped of course by good weather. Nice one guys and gals!
