2nd February 2018 is Solihull Mountaineering Club’s (formerly Solihull YHA) 60th Birthday and we’d like as many folk as possible to come along to celebrate.
19:30 at the Old Eds on Friday 2nd February 2018.
We will have a founder member (Mick Hall) talk to us about the building of the hut, with pictures, and no doubt some tales from the club’s early days and through the decades.
We will provide you with FREE pizza, your first drink and, of course, a special birthday cake.
Most importantly of all its a great opportunity for members, former members, friends of the club and everyone’s partners to come along, get together, catch up and share the craic to celebrate all that they love about the fellowship of the outdoors on this very special day for the club.
And while we have your attention, put September the 29th in your diary as well, because that is the date of the 60th annual dinner next year. More details to follow for this fabulous celebratory evening.
