We had another fun gathering to celebrate our achievements, misfortunes and acts that would perhaps best be forgotten, but now won’t be! Thanks to Chairman Phil for his entertaining awards speeches and to Social Sue for organising the whole thing. It was a huge amount of work and a whole lot of fun!
The presentations culminated in a lifetime achievement award for Richard. After several years of being a super effective and friendly Membership secretary, he has stood down from this role. In thanks, the club prepared a bound book as a record of some of his many accomplishments in his long climbing career, both before joining the club and during his membership of Solihull MC
